"Mountain wine growing, risky and difficult in the old vineyards, planted decades ago on slaty terrain"
At the winery we have maintained this historic tradition, controlling the work of cultivation, with optimum harvesting dates, based on maximum respect for the environment of these ancient vineyards, divided into small plots, up to the recuperation of the lands of the monastery, through the introduction of new plantations. A project that has, over recent years, been carried through with passion and allowed for the recovery and restructuring of the vineyards in both Cangas and Ibias.
The work of assessing, monitoring and selecting the grapes have allowed for the highest levels of quality to be obtained from the varieties used.

At the Monasterio de Corias winery, essential consideration is given to the care taken of the grape brought into the winery.
For centuries winemakers have been able to maintain the varieties that are best adapted to the area, the most emblematic of which are undoubtedly, Albarín Negro, Verdejo Negro, Carrasquín and Albarín Blanco.
