Fermented and aged on the lees, in top quality French oak barrels, this is a wine to be savoured enjoyed unhurriedly.

At the winery and the vineyards located on the grounds of the Monastery of Corias, they have rediscovered the ancestral Benedictine tradition of cultivating the vine and making the wine at their monasteries.
The different grape varieties, Albarín negro, Mencía, Verdejo negro and Carrasquín, blended in the elaboration of this wine, are harvested by hand from the high mountain vineyards, at their optimum point of ripeness.
The meticulous winemaking process, along with several months of aging in fine quality oak barrels, provide the wine with its characteristic body and aroma, a product of the land and the people that brought it to life.

“VIÑA GRANDIELLA”
This white wine pays a small homage to the ancestral tradition of planting a few top quality white grape vine stocks in all small family vineyards.
The autochthonous Albarín blanco, following a meticulous process of harvesting and elaboration, is transformed into this young wine, characterised by its intense fruity aroma, and fully reminiscent of both the grape and the area from which it comes.

Against the backdrop of the high mountains, the Monastery of Corias is a privileged setting for the cultivation of wines.
Here, the varieties Mencía and Albarín negro are blended to produce this young, unaged, wine with its clean fruity aromas and silky sensations.

“TRES OCTAVOS” TINTO

ESCOLINAS ALBARÍN TINTO
Las Escolinas, an emblematic territory of ancient vineyards, clustered around the Entreviñas church, divided up into small plots that are laid out across the steep slopes of the surrounding terrain. A wine that is made up solely from old red Albarines, aged and refined for months in top quality barrels of French oak. A fresh, smooth and fruity wine made from this great Cangas variety.
ESCOLINAS CARRASQUÍN
Las Escolinas, an emblematic territory of ancient vineyards, within the Cangas area, provides the name for these varietal wines, elaborated with grapes harvested at their optimum point of ripeness and subjected to a requisite ageing, in barrels of French oak, before being put down in the bottle, in our cellars, for as long as it takes for them to reach their full splendour.

PAGO DEL NARCEA
Albarín tinto, Mencía, Carrasquín y Verdejo tinto are undoubtedly the emblematic red varieties of the valleys of Narcea, only a careful selection of some barrel is destined to this wine, of very limited production, as a tribute to our vintage.

“Formal” is the Asturian name for what is generally known as “terroir”, our “formal” vineyards are distinguished through their particular characteristics, in terms of both land and micro-climate. The Moure “formal” is one of them.
Verdejo negro is one of our most emblematic varieties, solely harvested from ancient vineyards, a delicate variety that needs to be pampered during the winemaking process, Following several months of aging in top quality barrels of French oak, it is put down in the bottles, in our cellars, until its full potential has been reached.

All of our limited production wines may contain precipitates, which do not in any way reduce their quality, being the result of the natural way in which the wines are elaborated, free of artifice and with maximum respect for the climate, the soil and the grapes of the land that gave birth to them.
